Interpretation

Influenza A detected should reflex to H3 / pdmH1 / H5 subtyping.
Quality control
Multiplex controls covering each target. Monitor invalid rates by instrument.
Reportability
Novel influenza and H5 are immediately reportable. Seasonal flu and RSV follow state lists.
