Modern public health technology, for every laboratory.
One Platform. One Mission. Fair Access for Every Laboratory. Salus does not restrict functionality through editions, module licensing, or per-user pricing. Every organization receives the same enterprise-grade platform, and contributes according to the scope of its deployment.
What every organization receives.
There are no feature limitations based on contribution level. The only difference between organizations is the scope of the deployment.

Annual Platform Contribution
The software license is free to qualified public health laboratories. The Annual Platform Contribution, set by organizational scope, covers hosting and ongoing maintenance, and is payable to Global Hands, Inc.
A single public health laboratory modernizing its operations.
Multiple laboratories operating under one Salus deployment.
National laboratory networks, federal agencies, and multi-state organizations.
Salus is a true multi-tenant, multi-hierarchy platform, so an entire public health network can operate securely under one deployment, including:
Because the platform license itself is $0, a Local/community/regional deployment's only line item is the Annual Platform Contribution. That figure often falls under the discretionary or single-signer purchase threshold many state and county health agencies use for routine operational contracts - thresholds vary by agency, so confirm yours with your procurement office.
See the full Procurement & Funding Guide for grant alignment and sample sole source language.
A one-time investment in public health infrastructure.
Organizations seeking a long-term strategic investment may participate through a one-time Lifetime Participation Contribution, with no recurring annual contribution thereafter.
- No recurring annual contribution
- Lifetime access to the Salus platform
- Continuous platform enhancements
- Security updates
- AI capability improvements
- Eligibility for advisory councils
- Recognition as a Lifetime Steward
Professional services, implementation, custom integrations, and consulting are available separately. Explore the Founding Steward program.
Lifetime access to the platform, continuous enhancements, security updates, AI improvements, and standard support continue with no recurring Annual Platform Contribution.
Each participation includes an annual allocation of cloud resources (Snowflake compute and storage, backups, disaster recovery, AI processing) sized to your scope. Usage beyond it is billed at actual cloud cost, pass-through or via an optional Infrastructure Operations Plan. No software functionality is ever disabled, and Global Hands recovers cost rather than profiting on infrastructure.
Professional services.
Every implementation is unique. Prepaid Professional Service Blocks are delivered by our team or a Certified Salus Integration Partner at $125 per hour. Unless otherwise agreed, purchased hours expire twelve months from purchase.
Blocks cover implementation, data migration, instrument integration, workflow configuration, AI enablement, staff training, validation, project management, go-live support, and custom development. See professional services, delivered consistently across our Certified Integration Partner network.
Why Salus is different.
Traditional LIMS vendors charge separately for users, modules, integrations, and premium capabilities. Salus follows a different philosophy.
Free to qualified labs. Sustained by a nonprofit.
Salus Agentic was developed and is owned by Salus Agentic, Inc., a Delaware corporation and subsidiary of JIL Sovereign Holdings, LLC, and contributed to support the public health initiative of Global Hands, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Under that agreement, Global Hands licenses Salus free of charge to qualified public health laboratories.
The Annual Platform Contribution is not a software license fee. It covers hosting and ongoing maintenance, including bug fixes, and is payable to Global Hands, Inc. Laboratories that need more can add service packs as required.
One platform. One mission. Fair access for every laboratory.
Whether you are a local lab, a statewide network, or a national organization, the platform scales to meet your needs.
